Liverpool have deployed their top scout to monitor the progress of Torino youth prospect Aaron Ciammaglichella, as the Italian midfielder continues to impress in the club's under-19 setup. Comfortable playing as a central midfielder or defensive midfielder, Ciammaglichella is considered one of the best young players in Italy and has already been linked with a transfer to Lazio during the summer transfer window.
At Torino Primavera, the half-Ethopian half-Italian midfielder has burst on to the scene with numerous impressive performances, and Liverpool are looking to pounce before the player finally makes his first-team debut.
Torino will play their opening game of the Serie A season on Monday against Cagliari, and there are rumours that should the midfielder not complete a move, Ciammaglichella could be a part of the club's first-team squad.
Liverpool will need to pay around £10 million if a deal for Ciammaglichella materialises. The hot prospect for the future has just 24 months remaining on his deal in Turin, and is open to leaving the club at which he began his youth career a few years ago.
