Tottenham begin chase for Hart

Tottenham begin chase for Hart

14 May 2008 - 16:12

Tottenham have begun their chase for a new goalkeeper this summer as they appear to be set to offer Manchester City Paul Robinson as bait in their hunt to land talented England shot stopper Joe Hart.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Man City are known to be disappointed with the interest in Tottenham as they hope to keep the player at the club for the forseeable future.

The deal is believed to be a cash plus player move, and Tottenham are ready to offer around £5 million plus Robinson in their attempts to land the keeper.

The former Shrewsbury keeper only joined Man City for £600k in 2006, but his fee looks to have sky-rocketed as big clubs move in for the player.
