Manchester United are unlikely to pursue a deal for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi during the January transfer window.
The Red Devils have had a poor start to the campaign and they are currently on just 12 points after eight games into their league season.
They need a huge turnaround in fortunes after the international break such that they can revive their challenge for the league title.
There has been talk that the club could strengthen their backline in January but that is unlikely to happen, as per Football Insider.
Guehi has been on United's radar for the past year and the club are said to be contemplating an approach for his services next year.
However, that is unlikely to happen in January. United are likely to focus on loan deals and may only spend big during the summer.
Guehi is also on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. He has been touted to pursue a bigger challenge away from Palace for a while.
