Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes is seemingly interested in signing Bulgarian winger Ivelin Popov, while speculation remains that highly rated midfielder David Bentley is set to move away.
The Rovers boss had dismissed the speculation that Bentley is set to sign a deal with Aston Villa, saying "We don't have to sell David Bentley and we aren't looking to sell him." Aston Villa are likely to lose Barry and have reportedly keen to sign Bentley as his replacement.
The speculation could turn to be truth as Popov reportedly flew to the UK, invited by Hughes at the Ewood Park.
The Bulgarian was linked with Manchestery City last season, and currently plays for PFC Litex Lovech. The 20-year old is a right sided winger and can play as a supporting striker.
He has currently been called up to the Bulgaria squad to play a friendly match against Wales.
