Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah during the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils have been poor at the back this campaign and they have recently conceded plenty of goals in losing causes.
They need a solution in the New Year and Kicker claim that the club are keen on landing the services of Tah from Leverkusen.
The German has been a key component of the Leverkusen backline this term and he is an undisputed starter in central defence.
He currently has a low release clause of €18m in his deal, but reports claim that does not become active until the season concludes.
Hence, they are in a strong position to keep hold of him and United may need to make a substantial offer to secure his services.
Chelsea have also been linked with Tah in recent weeks, but they face the same situation heading into the January transfer window.
Tah has a dream of playing in the Premier League, but Leverkusen could delay his exit as they are currently top of Bundesliga.
