Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has said that the Blues were the better side against Everton in the Premier League.
The west London giants travelled to Goodison Park earlier on Sunday and they were the dominant side in the early exchanges.
However, it was the Toffees who break the deadlock following the interval. Abdoulaye Doucoure scored in the 54th minute.
The Blues tried to find an equaliser in the game, but eventually conceded a second goal in the final minutes in stoppage time.
Speaking after the defeat, Pochettino said that the Blues were the better side on the pitch after having 73 per cent of the ball.
They also managed 16 attempts on goal in the contest, but the Argentine added that they were not aggressive enough in the final third.
Pochettino aid: "We didn’t score. I think we dominated the game, we were the better side, but if you don’t score goals it is difficult to win the games. We were not aggressive enough in the last third."
