Manchester United have suffered a double injury blow ahead of the Premier League meeting against Liverpool on Sunday evening.
The Red Devils exited the Champions League last night following a disappointing 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich at Old Trafford.
In the process, they also lost Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw through injuries. Maguire was substituted before the break with a groin issue.
Shaw, on the other hand, did not make the field after the interval with a hamstring problem. Both are expected to miss the Reds game.
In addition to the duo, the Red Devils are also set to be without the services of Bruno Fernandes, who is suspended for the Merseyside trip.
Fernandes picked up his fifth yellow card of the league season last weekend and as a result, he will serve a one-match domestic suspension.
United are currently on a two-match losing streak and they face a humongous task to avoid another defeat at Anfield this weekend.
