Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah is unlikely to move to Saudi Arabia during the January transfer window.
The Egypt international was heavily linked with a switch to Saudi last summer but the Reds were reluctant to lose him.
They turned down a huge €150 million bid from Al-Ittihad and the decision has proved worthwhile with the forward's form.
Salah has 14 goals and eight assists to his name this season, and he has been undoubtedly the stand-out performer for them.
It is now reported that there won't be any offers from Saudi clubs in January and an approach will be delayed until the summer.
Salah is also content to continue with the Merseyside giants and a decision will be made over his future at the end of the season.
There could still be high-profile players heading to the Pro League this winter. Casemiro and Raphael Varane are possible candidates.
Manchester United teammate Anthony Martial has also been touted to make the switch with his contract expiring in the summer.
