Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Atalanta midfielder Ederson during the ongoing transfer window.
The Red Devils are likely to strengthen multiple departments this month following a dismal first half to the campaign.
They are eyeing a quality midfielder and reports claim that Ederson is highly valued by United and considered as a promising player.
The club have already contacted his representatives over a transfer, but the main question is whether Atalanta will consider a sale.
The Serie A outfit signed him for 15 million euros back in 2022 and he is currently a key player with five goals this campaign.
The Bergamo side are known to be tough negotiators and it is claimed that the midfielder has a high release clause in his deal.
Atalanta only sold Rasmus Hojlund to United after agreeing a deal worth €85m and are unlikely to sell Ederson on the cheap.
A deal could easily cost around €40m and United may not afford the price, considering they are facing Financial Fair Play difficulties.
