Barcelona have been offered the chance to sign Manchester United star Raphael Varane in the current transfer window.
Varane has been in-and-out of the starting plans of manager Erik ten Hag and there is no guarantee that he will keep his place in the coming months.
Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof are likely to return from their injuries soon and Varane could drop to the bench again.
Amidst this, Teamtalk claim that Barcelona have been offered the opportunity to sign the World Cup winner for a fee of around €20 million.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently agreed a minority investment into United and he will be allowed to takeover the footballing operations very soon.
It may not happen before the January transfer window ends, but he is said to be keen on getting Varane's huge salary off the wage bill.
Varane's contract has not been extended beyond June and he may well leave this winter. However, he could resist a transfer to Barcelona who are the fiercest rivals of his former club Real Madrid.
