Inter Milan have offered Denzel Dumfries in a swap deal to sign Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka this month.
Wan-Bissaka's current deal with United expires in the summer of 2025 and as things stand, no talks are ongoing over a renewal.
The Sun claim that Inter have proposed to swap him with Dumfries, but United have turned down the offer from the Serie A side.
Dumfries is one of the best attacking full-backs in European football, but the Red Devils don't hold a keen interest in landing him.
Wan-Bissaka could still leave United in the summer. There is talk of him joining Crystal Palace as part of a deal for Michael Olise.
United are likely to sign a right-back if he departs. They have identified Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong as a top target.
Frimpong has made close to 20 goal contributions for the German outfit but he is prepared to pursue a bigger club this summer.
The former Celtic man has a €40m release clause in his deal.
