Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Levi Colwill was absent against Aston Villa with a minor injury concern.
The versatile defender was unavailable to face the Villans in the FA Cup fourth round tie. The teams played out a 0-0 draw.
Speaking after the game, Pochettino said that Colwill's injury was only a minor one and he could return to training very soon.
He said: "We don’t believe it is so bad. It is a small issue and he felt uncomfortable. I hope he can train tomorrow or after tomorrow."
The Blues were unable to find the back of the net against the Villans despite creating a number of big chances. Cole Palmer squandered a few.
They will face Villa on the road in the replay and Unai Emery's side should go into the game as favourites with their excellent home run.
The West Midlands outfit have been brilliant in their home turf and have not suffered a negative result since the start of the campaign.
