Broja asking price reduced

Chelsea reduce asking price for Armando Broja

31 January 2024 - 20:34

Chelsea have reduced their asking price for Armando Broja as they look to offload him before the transfer deadline.

  • Chelsea banned from signing JJ Gabriel until December
  • Man Utd star to return from injury vs Brighton?
  • The Blues are keen to stay within the Financial Fair Play limits and they are aiming to balance their books in advance.

They have opened the door to offloading Broja on loan with an obligation to buy, but the price has been steep for his admirers.

The club were initially eyeing around €50m but have now lowered the figure to €40m to attract suitors before tomorrow's deadline.

Fulham are one of the teams keen on signing him, but they are reluctant to commit to an obligation to purchase this summer.

The west London outfit are also holding out for a lesser buy clause and it is left to be seen whether the Blues accept the terms.

Broja has been a fringe player up front for the Blues and he has played less than 500 minutes for the club over the campaign.
