Arsenal are in advanced contract negotiations with defender Ben White, according to The Telegraph.
White joined the Gunners from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2021 and he played as a central defender in his debut season.
However, he was transformed into a regular right-back last term and has continued to impress from the same role in the current campaign.
White has been one of the in-form players since the turn of the year and the club are now close to committing him to a new long-term deal.
The 26-year-old is presently one of the medium earners at the club at £120,000-a-week. He could earn £200,000 weekly with the renewal.
Aside from White, the club are also progressing with discussions over a new deal for Takehiro Tomiyasu, who has had a good season too.
Tomiyasu has verbally agreed terms over a contract extension with a pay rise and both deals could be announced before the end of the month.
