Liverpool are set to provide competition to Arsenal in the race to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time. He was close to joining Manchester United in 2022 before a disagreement over personal terms.
Rabiot has since been an undisputed starter for the Bianconeri with plenty of goal contributions, but he could walk out of the club when his contract expires at the end of the current season.
The midfielder has no desire to accept similar contract terms to extend his stay and it is claimed that he could end up in the Premier League next term.
Arsenal have been long-term admirers of the former Paris Saint-Germain man, but they look likely to face competition from Liverpool for him.
The 28-year-old has registered four goals and three assists for the Bianconeri this season. He has captained them on many occasions.
The Turin giants are doing their best to persuade him to stay, but Rabiot is currently eyeing an increase on his €7 million per year wages.
