Manchester United are prepared to discuss a new contract with midfielder Scott McTominay, according to Daily Star.
The Scotland international came on the verge of leaving the Red Devils last summer amid interest from West Ham United.
The Hammers could not reach an agreement in the end, and this has proved a blessing in disguise for the Red Devils this term.
McTominay has contributed seven goals in the Premier League which has helped United to pick up 12 more points.
The club are now ready to reward him for his efforts and are prepared to double his current wages in a new deal.
McTominay is currently one of the lowest earners at £60,000-a-week and will be handed a 100 per cent hike.
The Scot is widely expected to accept the proposal despite his reduced playing time over the past couple of years.
While McTominay looks set to stay, the club are braced for the departure of Christian Eriksen at the end of the season.
