After scoring a hat trick, Giovani dos Santos dedicated the goals to outgoing coach Frank Rijkaard. Dos Santos has been a subject of interest from other clubs all summer, but the Mexican has revealed that he would prefer to stay at Barcelona if possible.
âIt was Barça who opened doors for me and they are still my first option," the 19-year-old said. âIt is the media that keep saying that I do not future i the club's plans, nobody else.
âI needed to score. I was anxious. Itâs never too late to show your goal-scoring skills, Iâve worked hard, and Iâve been denied a goal all season. The goals have rounded the season off for me.
