Manchester United are lining up a summer move for Portuguese and Benfica wonderkid Joao Neves, according to Record.
The Red Devils are determined to bring in a new defensive midfielder this summer and they have lined up Neves as their prime target.
The club have already watched him plenty of times and they are now preparing an approach to secure his signature.
He currently has a release clause worth €120m in his deal, but United are likely to negotiate add-ons to lower the fixed fee.
If United were to sign Neves, it could pave the way for the departure of Casemiro, who has been poor in midfield this term.
He has looked far from his best over the course of the campaign amid injuries and could be offloaded by United this year.
The former Real Madrid man has been the subject of interest from Saudi Arabian clubs and could end up in the Middle East in the next transfer window.
