Chelsea are to allow Hakim Ziyech to depart to Stamford Bridge this summer, as the Morocco international has impressed during a loan spell at the Turkish side. It is understood that the Blues have agreed a fee of around 15 million euros to let the winger depart the club.

  • Ziyech has been with Chelsea since 2020 when he departed Ajax for a move to West London, and has struggled to adapt to life at the Premier League side. A move to the Turkish top flight has recaptured some of the form that made him one of the Eredivisie's best talents.

The attacking midfielder has informed his agent that he only wants to move to Galatasaray, despite interest from both France and Saudi Arabia. It is believed that Marseille have been weighing up a bid for the 31-year-old.

Ziyech has only one year remaining on his deal at Stamford Bridge, and manager Mauricio Pochettino will agree that the time to cash in is now. Ziyech impressed for Morocco during their stunning campaign at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
