Chelsea are no longer interested in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The west London giants are looking for a top-class marksman this summer and they have been linked with Osimhen several times.
However, a deal is no longer on the cards due to different reasons.
First of all, the Blues are not in a position to pay over £100m for Osimhen. Napoli want the majority of the fee in one single payment.
Secondly, they are unlikely to meet the striker's wage demands. He is already on £212,000 per week and could demand a higher package.
Chelsea are reluctant to pay more than £150,000 per week for new signings and Osimhen has no plan of accepting a pay-cut for a move.
Hence, the club are no longer interested in signing him and they could turn their attention to other targets. Benjamin Sesko could be one of them.
Arsenal are also pushing to sign the Slovenian and the Blues need to be pro-active to beat the Gunners to the highly-rated Leipzig star.
