Arsenal want to carry out a thorough medical on Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto before making an approach to sign him.
The Portugal international has been a key player for Wolves over the past few years, but he has been hampered by several injury problems.
Neto registered three goals and 11 assists for the Midlands outfit last term, but only featured in 55 per cent of the club's games in all competitions.
Football Transfers claim that the Gunners are prepared to spend big on the services of Neto, provided they are guaranteed over his fitness.
Neto picked up two lengthy hamstring injuries in the recent campaign and Arsenal need assurance that he won't suffer another setback.
Aside from Neto, the Gunners are also admirers of Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams, but his release clause appears a stumbling block.
As per La Liga rules, his €58m buy-out clause needs to be paid in full. Arsenal are not prepared to do so at the current point of time.
