Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte has opened the door to joining Manchester United this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are determined to sign a new holding midfielder and they have recently been in contact with PSG regarding Ugarte.
It is now reported that the 23-year-old has welcomed the chance to join the Red Devils despite their failure to qualify for the Champions league.
Ugarte had a good start to his career at Parc des Princes, but he fell out-of-favour under manager Luis Enrique in the back end of last season.
He is now contemplating a new challenge elsewhere. United could be his next destination as they look to replace Casemiro in the no.6 role.
The Brazilian star had a poor second season where he struggled for consistency. He was also sidelined for a significant period of time.
Ugarte would be a fantastic addition to the United ranks. He is superb with his distribution as well as his tackling and ball recoveries.
