Portsmouth striker Nwankwo Kanu is still waiting to learn whether he is to stay at the club for next year as contract discussions have yet to begin. The Nigerian scored the winning goal in the FA Cup Final.

"If it comes, it comes," said the Nigerian international.



"I love football, I love playing and I think the club will not forget what I have done for this team. It is left for them to say 'you have done well and deserve it'."



Kanu's contract is due to expire shortly, and it is believed that Pompey are looking to cut his wage next year as they offer him a one year pay as you play deal.
