Manchester United could part ways with manager Michael Carrick if they fail to beat Bournemouth in Sunday's Premier League game at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils went winless for the seventh game running after a 4-1 Champions League rout at the hands of Como on the road yesterday.
There has been intense speculation that Carrick could be sacked ever since, and reports claim that the hierarchy are seriously assessing his future too.
Carrick continues to retain the support of the hierarchy, but their stance could completely change if United don't beat Bournemouth at home on Sunday.
United have played out high-scoring draws against the Cherries in recent meetings, but Carrick needs a victory this weekend to save his job.
The Red Devils have not made contact with any managerial candidates, but they have apparently shorlisted three names for the possible vacancy.
Eddie Howe, Julian Nagelsmann and Antonio Conte are the frontrunners. The former and Conte could be preferred due to Premier League experience.
