Arsenal are hopeful of completing the signing of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna in the next week, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 22-year-old has the ability to play in central defence or at left-back. He is most likely to operate from the latter of those roles at Arsenal.
His arrival could also pave the way for the departure of Jakub Kiwior, who is currently attracting plenty of interest from the Italian top tier.
Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan are among admirers of the Pole. Arsenal are open to loaning him out with a mandatory clause to purchase.
