Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has his sights on reuniting with Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen this summer.
The Blues currently have Robert Sanchez, Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga as their senior goalkeepers, but two of them are expected to be sold.
Arrizabalaga is waiting for a fresh approach from Real Madrid. He could rejoin them if Andrey Lunin secures a permanent transfer away from the Bernabeu.
Meanwhile, Petrovic does not fit into the manager's plans. His average passing range is a prime concern and he could be offloaded in the coming weeks.
It is now reported that Maresca is a huge admirer of Hermansen and he could urge the Blues to pursue his services from the Foxes.
The Midlands outfit are unlikely to let him go on the cheap and he could cost at least £45 million which is a huge outlay for a goalkeeper.
Chelsea may want to recoup funds from offloading Petrovic and Arrizabalaga before making an approach for the 24-year-old Dane.
