Evra talks groundsman fight

Evra talks groundsman fight

20 May 2008 - 12:59

Man Utd defender Patrice Evra has broken his silence with regard to his fight with a Chelsea groundsman. The French defender has been very quiet with regard to the confrontation, and has decided to reveal all before the Champions League final.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • Evra said: "Everybody was little bit angry - when you lose a game you're always angry.

"But I don't want to talk about what happened afterwards. The club has said everything about it. I want only to think about the final. It's very important to me because I lost one with Monaco four years ago.

"In a sense we have forgotten all about losing at Chelsea because straight afterwards we beat Barcelona, then we went on to win the title. At Stamford Bridge, a lot of players were rested.

"The final in Moscow will be a completely different game."
