Ligue 1 giants Marseille are interested in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah on an initial loan deal, according to Standard Sport.
The 25-year-old has been tipped to leave the Gunners in the current transfer window with the club eyeing a marquee striker addition.
Marseille have made the first move for him and it is reported that they have proposed a loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer.
The value of the proposal remains undisclosed, but Nketiah is reportedly open to joining the French outfit to play regular first-team football.
He is close to agreeing personal terms with Roberto De Zerbi's side, who have already signed a couple of players from the Premier League.
Mason Greenwood was purchased from Manchester United last week. The club have now confirmed the arrival of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Spurs.
Nketiah is currently with Arsenal for their pre-season tour of the United States. Any deal for him could be delayed until the Gunners return.
