West Ham United are close to reaching an agreement with Manchester United over the transfer of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Sky Sports.
The Hammers have held a long-term interest in the 26-year-old and they are now pushing to land his signature after ending talks for Noussair Mazraoui.
The club recently agreed a transfer fee for Mazraoui. The defender also accepted a contract, but his agent wanted a huge commission for the deal.
As a result, the club have returned for Wan-Bissaka. The Crystal Palace graduate prefers to join Inter Milan, but there are no offers as of now.
Should the Hammers finalise an agreement with United, the Red Devils will be aiming to persuade Wan-Bissaka to make the switch to east London.
United have identified Mazraoui as the perfect replacement for Wan-Bissaka. Unlike the Hammers, they have no issues with his agent.
A deal could be fairly straightforward once Wan-Bissaka moves on. United are hoping to complete the transfer before the new campaign.
