Chelsea are preparing to offload goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic following the arrival of Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal this month.
Petrovic was the Blues' first-choice goalkeeper during the back end of last season, but he does not feature in manager Enzo Maresca's plans.
Maresca prefers a strong ball-playing keeper in goal. Robert Sanchez is his preferred choice, but Jorgensen could compete with him.
It is now reported that the Blues are preparing to part ways with Kepa Arrizabalaga as well as Petrovic before the transfer deadline.
Arrizabalaga has been holding out for a return to Real Madrid. The Blues are unlikely to entertain another loan proposal for his services.
Petrovic, who is currently nursing a minor injury, could also head for the exit door with Jorgensen now considered as the back-up keeper.
Chelsea have had a disastrous pre-season campaign with a draw and defeat to Wrexham and Celtic respectively. They face Club America, Manchester City and Real Madrid in their remaining friendlies in the United States.
