Chelsea are open to signing a marquee striker following the arrival of Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto, according to The Athletic.
The west London giants recently secured an agreement for Neto from Wolves and he is expected to undergo his medical in the next 24 hours.
The hierarchy will then focus on landing a new marksman. Napoli star Victor Osimhen is on their radar, but a deal won't be easy to pursue.
Osimhen has no interest in reducing his weekly salary and he is also reluctant to join the Blues on loan with an option to buy next summer.
The Nigerian won't change his stance and this could be problematic for the Blues, who have been tracking him for some period of time.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on the situation, but the former are yet to make any proposal for the 25-year-old.
PSG have proposed to sign him for around €90m, but Napoli are reluctant to accept anything less than the striker's €130m release clause.
