Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior could pursue a new challenge away from the club this month, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Poland international was a regular starter for the Gunners during the back end of last season, but his future is now uncertain.
Kiwior was left out of the matchday squad for the Premier League opener against Wolves. It was reportedly a technical decision.
The Pole has been linked with a return to Serie A for some time and Romano claims that there is a possibility that he could still leave.
Juventus and AC Milan are among his admirers, but Arsenal have no plans of accepting a straight loan deal from either of those teams.
The north London giants prefer a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy to part ways with the versatile defender.
Aside from Kiwior, Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson are also strong candidates to head for the exit door before the deadline.
