Chelsea have offered a £130k per week contract to Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to Fabrice Hawkins.
The Blues have been locked in negotiations with Napoli for the Nigerian star, but they have yet to find a solution for him.
The club are willing to pay the £70m asking price, but they have been unable to finalise personal terms with the marksman.
It is now revealed that the Blues offered a weekly package of £130,000 to the striker, but the proposal was swiftly rejected.
Osimhen has no intention of accepting anything less than £300,000 per week and he is more likely to continue at Napoli.
The 25-year-old is unhappy with the handling of his situation. The Saudi window remains open and he could yet to move there.
Al-Ahli agreed to sign him from Napoli earlier this week, but they have eventually decided to land Ivan Toney from Brentford.
It remains to be seen whether there is fresh Saudi interest. Chelsea seem unlikely to sign Osimhen before the 11pm deadline.
