Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad have made a €35 million bid to sign Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Belgium international has been a revelation since his move to the Gunners last year. He has registered 31 goal contributions from 71 games.
It is now claimed that Al-Ittihad have proposed to sign Trossard on loan for €5m with an obligation to buy for €30m at the end of the campaign.
However, the proposal has been swiftly turned down by the London giants, considering the Belgian's importance under manager Mikel Arteta.
The 29-year-old has turned out as a clutch player for the Gunners, and he has impressed with his ability to score game-changing goals.
Hence, we are not surprised that Arsenal have snubbed the proposal. They are most likely to keep him for the remainder of the campaign.
The scenario could be different next summer. Should Arsenal sign a marquee winger like Nico Williams, Trossard could be free to leave.
