Arsenal have included defender Kieran Tierney in their Champions League squad for the league phase.
The Scotland international spent last season on loan with Real Sociedad where he was hampered by injuries.
He was deemed fit for Euro 2024 with his country, but suffered a serious hamstring injury in the curtain-raiser.
Tierney has been ongoing rehabilitation with Arsenal recently and he was recently spotted in individual training.
Arsenal have now included him in the 25-man List A squad for the league phase of the new Champions League format.
The Gunners will be playing eight games during the first phase of the competition proper and need quality depth.
Tierney may not start in the opening fixtures, but could get some playing time over the course of the league campaign.
This could be a good thing for the Gunners, who may want to recoup the £25m paid in the next transfer window.
The club were initially aiming to sell him in the summer, but their plans were hampered by his fresh injury setback.
