Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has provided a fresh injury update on Reece James ahead of the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.
James has been sidelined from the beginning of the campaign with a hamstring injury and Maresca has highlighted that there has been no positive progress as things stand.
Speaking in today's press conference, the Italian tactician said that James continues to remain on the sidelines, but the rest of the squad are available for selection this weekend.
He said earlier today: "Reece James is still not ready, not available. All the other players are available now."
Carney Chukwuemeka was expected to feature against Gent in midweek, but he was ill before the game. He will be hoping to make the matchday squad against Forest.
Aside from James, Omari Kellyman remains the other notable absentee. The midfielder, who joined from Aston Villa this summer, is nursing a hamstring injury of his own.
