Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has said that his players delivered a very good performance against Liverpool in the Premier League.
The Blues went into the game in good form and they had the chance to move to third in the league table by beating Arne Slot's side.
However, they were unable to secure the result. The Reds came on top after goals from Mohamed Salah and Curtis Jones.
Nicolas Jackson equalised shortly after the break for the Blues and it only proved a consolation goal at the end of the game.
Speaking after the loss, Maresca said that his team dominated the proceedings, but it was a very good performance.
The Italian tactician added that the team are not happy still, having failed to come up with a victory against the Reds on the road.
He said: "The performance was very good. We don't like having no points but if you had to choose a way, then this is the way.
"I've been in this stadium many times, it's not easy. We controlled the game and for the most part we dominated the game, but we lost. We are not happy."
Chelsea have dropped to sixth in the table after the league defeat. They will host Newcastle United in their next top-flight outing.
