Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is reportedly keen on signing Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi at the end of the season.
The Blues bolstered their wide attacking options with Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto last summer, but Maresca is eyeing more quality.
Mykhailo Mudryk has yet to shine on the big stage and there is a genuine possibility that the Blues could cut their losses on him soon.
Maresca has his sights on landing Adeyemi, who was heavily linked with Juventus last summer. A deal did not materialise in the end.
Adeyemi was happy to continue with the Bundesliga outfit, but he is expected to push for a new challenge away from the division next summer.
Nonetheless, he won't come on the cheap for any of his suitors. Dortmund plan to demand at least £50 million for the highly-rated forward.
Adeyemi has registered 10 goal contributions from eight games this term. The 22-year-old is presently sidelined with a muscle problem.
