Mark Schwarzer has made the shock move across the Premiership from Middlesbrough to Fulham. The Aussie keeper was expected to sign a new deal with his club, but decided to move to London.

  • Schwarzer reportedly turned down the option to join Bayern Munich, Lille and Juventus to move to Fulham.

Schwarzer said: "I was very confident that it would be sorted out. I had a few other options but felt this was the best one for me."

Schwarzer will replace Kasey Keller at the club, and Middlesbrough are now on the look out for a new number one.
