Serie A giants Juventus have opened talks with Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee, who is growing frustrated with his situation at the club, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Netherlands international joined the Red Devils from Bologna last summer after a good season where he contributed 12 goals and seven assists in all competitions.
However, he has struggled to make a similar impression with United. Since scoring on debut, Zirkzee has been poor in front of goal and has squandered plenty of clear-cut chances.
The Dutchman has failed to adapt to the extra intensity of the Premier League and this could urge him to depart the Red Devils as early as January.
Juventus have made contact with the Bayern Munich graduate, but a final decision over a transfer could depend on the stance of manager Ruben Amorim.
Amorim was not impressed with Zirkzee's positioning at the weekend, but the Portuguese could keep him until the summer before making his transfer decision.
