Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed a big fitness boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Red Devils registered a convincing 4-0 win over Everton at the weekend. The game ended on a sour note with Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez picking up their fifth yellow cards of the campaign.
The duo are now suspended for the trip to north London, but United will receive a timely boost with Leny Yoro likely to make the matchday squad.
The Frenchman last played for United in a pre-season game against Arsenal. He was substituted early in the friendly after a metatarsal fracture.
The 18-year-old has gone through a successful rehabilitation and Amorim is hopeful that he will be involved in the upcoming trip to face Arsenal.
He said: "We have one more training session to see it. Maybe Leny Yoro is going to be in the squad. I felt he’s in a good moment now, his fitness is better, so I think he is going to be in the squad."
