Arsenal and Manchester United could compete for the signature of Barcelona star Dani Olmo on a free transfer, according to Daily Mail.
The Spaniard signed for Barcelona from RB Leipzig in the last transfer window and he has already made seven goal contributions for them.
However, his future with the Blaugrana is doubtful. The Catalan giants have only managed to register him with La Liga until the end of December.
La Liga have clearly mentioned that the playmaker won't be registered for the second half of the season unless the Blaugrana recover some of their debts.
Barcelona have a hearing in a local court on Monday. Should the verdict go against them, Olmo could be free to leave on a free transfer agreement.
United and Arsenal have been put on alert by the situation. Olmo's agent has already travelled to England to negotiate with interested teams.
The Premier League duo could face competition from Manchester City, who have also been following Olmo's progress in the last few years.
