Napoli are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei on a permanent basis this month, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian joined the Blues from Inter Milan with a huge reputation, but he has failed to break into the first-team plans of manager Enzo Maresca.
Casadei has made six appearances for the west London giants this campaign, but none of those have been in the Premier League.
It is quite clear that Maresca does not fancy him and Romano claims that Napoli want to land the 21-year-old on a permanent deal.
The Serie A outfit have already sent a proposal for the midfielder. The Blues want a reasonable sell-on clause as part of the transfer.
Aside from Casadei, there could be more departures from the Blues.
The club have opened the door for the exits of Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka. The latter is attracting interest from AC Milan.
There is also the possibility that Axel Disasi could be sold. He could be replaced by a marquee centre-back signing in the coming weeks.
