Torino are in advanced talks with Chelsea to sign midfielder Cesare Casadei on a permanent basis this month, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 21-year-old has been a fringe player for the Blues and he looks poised to return to Serie A during the ongoing transfer window.
Napoli were initially interested in landing his signature, but they backed out of a potential deal after the Blues' demands for a sell-on clause.
Torino are now close to finalising payment terms with the Blues and Casadei could be permitted to join the Turin outfit in the coming days.
The midfielder may not be the only player leaving the club. Chelsea are also open to parting ways with Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka.
Summer signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could also head for the exit door, having failed to become a regular starter for the Blues this campaign.
Everton, Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United are keeping tabs and could make an approach in the back end of the transfer window.
