Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that striker Dominic Solanke picked up a knee injury in training on Saturday.
The London giants have been in poor form over the Premier League campaign and they suffered another defeat to Everton away from home today.
Solanke was missing from the matchday squad and when pressed on this, Postecoglou confirmed that he tweaked his knee in a training session.
He said: "Dominic tweaked his knee yesterday in training trying to take a shot and misses today and not sure on the extent of it."
When asked about a potential timeframe for his return, Postecoglou added that the England international could be out for the next few weeks.
Spurs have picked up just one point from the last six league games and they are presently placed 15th in the table with just 24 points on the board.
The club are eight points clear of the relegation zone, but their current form and injuries could put them in real danger in the coming weeks.
