Manchester United legend Gary Neville said that Manchester City deserved to beat Chelsea in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium.
The Blues made a perfect start with Noni Madueke scoring in the third minute. They could have easily doubled their advantage.
However, the Cityzens grew in confidence as the game went on. They equalised through Josko Gvardiol before the half-time break.
Erling Haaland capitalised on a Robert Sanchez error to put City into the lead. Phil Foden put the game to bed with the third goal late on.
Speaking after the 3-1 win, Nevill said that Cole Palmer could not get into the contest and City fully deserved to come on top with three points.
He said: "After what happened in Paris and going a goal down tonight, it could have been a brutal game - but they recovered.
"Palmer couldn’t get into the game.City deserved it. Chelsea didn’t do anywhere near enough."
With the victory, City have climbed back to the fourth spot in the table. They will face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium next weekend.
