Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is open to joining Roma on loan for the remainder of the campaign, according to Sky Sports.
The Brazil international has fallen out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim. He has been on the bench in 10 of the last 13 games.
This has spread speculation regarding his future and reports claim that the experienced ace could depart Old Trafford in the coming days.
Casemiro was linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League recently, but no deal is expected to happen until the end of the current campaign.
Roma are said to be exploring a temporary switch, but that could largely depend on United paying most of the midfielder's weekly wages.
Casemiro is open to a new challenge in Serie A in his successful career. It remains to be seen whether United grant his wish before the deadline.
Amorim has already confirmed that Casemiro does not feature in his plans. He has opened the door for his departure in the coming days.
