Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel has no interest in joining Chelsea before next week's transfer deadline, according to German outlet TZ.
The Blues are determined to land a new striker in the current transfer window, and they have identified Tel as the priority target to purchase.
The club have already made an approach to the player's camp, but TZ report that the 19-year-old has no plans of joining the London outfit.
Tel is aware of the vast competition for places at the Blues, and he is reluctant to join them without the guarantee of regular minutes.
The Frenchman wonderkid could still move to the Premier League this winter with interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United.
United are reportedly front-runners to land his signature. The player would prefer to move to Old Trafford despite the lure of the English capital.
It could take around £40 million to purchase him outright. United are likely to propose a short-term loan deal with an option to buy this summer.
