Stoke won't sign Riggott

Newly promoted Stoke City are unlikely to sign Chris Riggott from Middlesbrough. Unfortunately for Stoke, they are unlikely to make a permanent move for the player as Gareth Southgate has remained tight lipped over the defender's future.

"I've had no contact with Gareth and I think Middlesbrough would have been on to us by now if anything was going to happen," Pulis told the Sentinel.



"Riggs came to watch our last game, which shows how well he had fitted in here. It certainly seems as though we breathed some new life into him."
