Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Arsenal defender Ayden Heaven on a long-term contract.
The 18-year-old has parted ways with the Gunners to join the Red Devils before the transfer deadline.
Heaven was offered a contract by the Gunners recently, but he chose to join United due to playing time.
The youngster was not viewed as a first-team player at Arsenal, but United have a different opinion of him.
Ruben Amorim is impressed by his potential at the junior level and Heaven will train with the senior squad.
He is expected to act as a deputy for Lisandro Martinez for the left centre-back role.
Heaven could be involved in the matchday squad against Crystal Palace if he was registered by Friday noon.
United are also expected to announce the arrival of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce in the next 24 hours or so.
The duo could be unveiled to the fans before the league game against Crystal Palace at home tomorrow.
